Why did you choose to start and grow your career at Bridgewater?
I honestly really loved the people — Bridgewater seemed like a good organization with people that I could be friends with and learn from. Additionally, my mom used to cater for Bridgewater, and she loved it, so that was also a good reference!

How has Bridgewater supported you both personally and professionally?
On the personal front, some of my best friends are here at Bridgewater, and I’ve found that I’ve been able to form a little work family in every group I’ve worked in, whether it be Reception, Recruiting, or Security. Folks here at Bridgewater are understanding and supportive of what you want out of your life and career, which translates on the professional side. I joined Bridgewater early in my career and have had the opportunity to work in different areas of the firm. My management is always asking me what I want, what I’m interested in, and how they can provide projects and experiences that meet those goals. For someone like me who wants to work hard and add value, but who doesn’t necessarily have a specific path in mind, it’s given me a lot of opportunity to explore different things.

What meaningful impact have you been able to make here?
One of the cool parts of my job is security training. My colleague Ben and I are responsible for the ongoing phishing training at Bridgewater. We built the program, are running it, and keeping Bridgewater safer because of it. Phishing is a real and ongoing threat we worry about, so this is a cool example of real impact and contributions I’ve had within Security.
