Ryan Drajewicz
Ryan Drajewicz joined Bridgewater in 2010 and is Head of External Affairs and Communications, as well as a Partner at the firm. Reporting to the CEO, he is responsible for the firm’s external communications strategy, public relations and affairs, and digital strategy. Prior to this role, Ryan was Deputy Chief Commercial Officer, Head of the Operating Board of Directors & Chief of Staff to the founder and co-Chair of the Board. In 2024, Ryan was appointed by Connecticut’s Governor, Ned Lamont, to Chair the Governor’s Workforce Council, for a two-year term.
Ryan draws on a depth of experience in public and government service as well. From 2018 to 2020, he was Chief of Staff to the Governor of Connecticut, after serving as gubernatorial Transition Director, and earlier in his career, Ryan spent nearly a decade as senior advisor and staff member to US Senator Christopher J. Dodd.
Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree from Barry University. He currently lives in Fairfield Connecticut with his wife Kate and son Charlie and remains very active in national and Connecticut politics.
