The 2021 Women of Excellence Trailblazer Award — in partnership with Working Mother and the National Association for Female Executives — honors individuals who not only create new pathways to achievement but also help others advance along them to reach new heights.
Robyn Shepherd joined Bridgewater in 2004 and has held key investment, client-facing, and management roles over the course of her tenure. After serving as Head of Client Analytics, she worked as Chief of Staff to the CEO, partnering on the firm’s strategic initiatives, company culture agenda, business oversight, and governance. In that role, she built Bridgewater’s communications function, created its Alumni Network, co-founded its Women’s Influence Network, and was a founding member of the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Council. Today, as Head of Corporate Engagement, Robyn oversees Bridgewater’s public affairs, communications, and branding functions, as well as the company’s initiatives for sustainability of our operations, diversity and inclusion, and community.
