Phil Salinger joined Bridgewater in 2008 as an Investment Associate and today serves as Global Currency Markets Lead in our research group. In this capacity, he oversees the firm’s FX portfolio across all major global currencies in both the developing world and emerging markets. He is also responsible for developing, prioritizing, and directing research initiatives to inform the firm’s investing views, particularly related to understanding currency markets. Phil is a regular contributor to the Bridgewater Daily Observations and serves as a partner and advisor to our institutional clients on currency management.
