Phil Dobrin

Phil is a Bridgewater Partner, Head of Micro Equities within the Equities team, and formerly a Senior Portfolio Strategist. Since joining Bridgewater in 2008, Phil has been responsible for leading research across credit, rates, and equities. He developed and continues to oversee several bottom-to-top equity strategies and is a key partner in Bridgewater’s broader equity research, including the launch of the firm’s sustainable equity strategies. Phil also serves as an advisor to Bridgewater’s clients to develop tailored investment solutions, in addition to representing the firm and its market views at industry conferences and other external engagements. He is a regular contributor to Bridgewater Daily Observations, the firm’s signature daily research publication, and also serves as the chair of the firm’s Partner Finance Committee.

In 2020, Phil was named to "Business Insider's "Rising Stars of Wall Street," which recognizes up and coming leaders in finance. Prior to joining Bridgewater, Phil received his B.A. from Princeton University.
