Phil Dobrin

Phil joined Bridgewater in 2008 and is Head of Micro Equities within the Equities team and a Partner Director on Bridgewater’s Operating Board. He is also a Partner at the firm and was formerly a Senior Portfolio Strategist. Phil has been responsible for leading research across credit, rates, and equities. He developed and continues to oversee Bridgewater’s bottom-to-top equity strategies and is a key partner in Bridgewater’s broader equity research, including the launch of the firm’s sustainable equity strategies. Phil also serves as an advisor to Bridgewater’s clients to develop tailored investment solutions, in addition to representing the firm and its market views at industry conferences and other external engagements. He is a regular contributor to Bridgewater Daily Observations, the firm’s signature daily research publication.

In 2020, Phil was named to "Business Insider's "Rising Stars of Wall Street," which recognizes up and coming leaders in finance. Prior to joining Bridgewater, Phil received his B.A. from Princeton University.
