Melody Rollins Named to Pensions & Investments' 2024 Influential Women in Institutional Investing List

Global Head of Core Institutional Clients Melody Rollins has been recognized as one of 60 honorees named to Pensions & Investments' list of Influential Women in Institutional Investing. Melody celebrated this achievement with some of the other honorees at the Nasdaq closing on September 9, 2024.

Melody joined Bridgewater in 2018 and is the Head of Core Institutional Clients. In that capacity, she oversees the team responsible for core institutional client relationships globally and is particularly focused on developing digital content and tools that further enhance the partnership with our core client base.

Prior to joining Bridgewater, Melody was a partner and Head of Client Service and Business Development at Brightwood Capital Advisors — a middle market credit platform — and served on Brightwood’s Executive Committee. She also previously spent 15 years at PIMCO, most recently as Head of US Institutional client management. In that capacity, Melody oversaw the team of professionals who delivered customized client service and investment solutions to the firm’s US-based institutional clients. Melody also worked directly with many of PIMCO’s largest clients, including corporate and public pensions, endowments, and foundations.

Melody has an MBA with a focus on financial engineering from MIT Sloan, and a B.S. in International Affairs and Economics from Georgetown University. In addition, she holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA”) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (“CAIA”) designations.

In describing her time at Bridgewater, Melody explained that it is a firm where “you are your best idea” and you are able to showcase your personality in a way that is authentic and truthful.
