Katie Bruce, CFA

Katie joined Bridgewater in 2007 and is currently Deputy Head of Client Service and a Partner of the firm. In this role, she drives the strategic and commercial goals of the department and oversees our global institutional advisory business, ensuring Bridgewater is providing thought partnership to help our clients meet their objectives. She is also a leader in the firm’s Women’s Influence Network, where she coaches and mentors young professionals. Katie previously was the Head of Americas, and she began as an Investment Associate in the Trading group, where she focused on foreign currency trading strategies.

Katie received her BS in Biomedical Engineering from Yale University and is a CFA® charterholder. She is a fellow with the Schmidt Futures International Strategy Forum, Board Co-Chair and Investment Committee Chair of Inspirica, a board member of Globally, and a Yale Class Treasurer. Katie lives in Connecticut with her husband and their four children.
