Jason Warner

Jason Warner is an Outside Director on Bridgewater’s Operating Board of Directors. He joined the Board in January 2024.

Jason Warner is the Co-Founder and CEO of Poolside, using AI to push the bounds of software creation to unlock humanity’s potential. Jason brings two decades of experience in leading roles in technology and, most recently, investing in tech companies. From 2020 to 2022, he was a Managing Director at Redpoint Ventures investing in AI and infrastructure companies. Prior to that, Jason served as the CTO of GitHub, where he oversaw the Engineering, Product, and Design organizations responsible for products including GitHub Actions, Packages, Advanced Security, & Codespaces as well as incubating experimental projects like GitHub Co-pilot. Jason has also had leading engineering roles at Heroku and Canonical.

Developing the next generation of leaders and builders is one of Jason’s passions. In his spare time, he mentors young founders building new foundational layers of technology around the world. He himself started in technology with a high school internship at IBM before graduating from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Computer Science degree and finishing with a Master of Science degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic University.

Jason is a Connecticut native who has lived throughout the US and in Australia. He now calls Victoria, BC, Canada home. He enjoys spending time with his family in the Pacific Northwest and writing and drawing with his children.
